경계를 지운 해석

이 프로젝트는 문과 벽, 복도와 방이 생활의 사용을 어떻게 구획해왔는지를 다시 살피고, 현관 이후의 동선과 시야가 집 전체에서 어떤 장면을 만드는지 정리했다.

현관에서 문을 제거한 이후, 공간은 하나의 기준으로 연결된다. 이동은 벽을 따라 이어지고, 시야는 단계적으로 열리며, 각 공간은 분리된 방이 아니라 하나의 구성으로 인식된다. 

이 정리는 집 전체의 배치와 가구 구성, 시선의 방향을 조정하는 방식으로 이어졌다.

개봉한진 아파트에서 ‘경계를 지운다’는 말은 경계의 역할을 다시 정리하는 데서 출발한다. 

이 작업은 문 같은 장치의 존재 여부에 기대지 않고, 배치와 시선, 사용의 순서가 공간의 질서를 형성하도록 정리한 결과다.

An Interpretation of Removed Boundaries

This project began with a review of how space is divided. We examined how doors, walls, corridors, and rooms had structured daily use, and clarified how movement and sightlines after the entrance shape the overall spatial experience of the home.

After the removal of the entrance door, the space is organized under a single spatial logic. Movement follows the perimeter, sightlines open in sequence, and each area is perceived not as an isolated room but as part of a continuous composition. 

This approach informed the overall layout, furniture placement, and orientation of views throughout the apartment.

In the Gaebong Hanjin Apartment, removing boundaries does not refer to the absence of partitions, but to the reorganization of spatial order. 

Rather than relying on architectural devices, the space is structured through arrangement, sightlines, and the sequence of use. 

The project establishes conditions under which the home maintains coherence as a whole.
