오어스는 전면의 골목과 후면의 공원이 동시에 맞닿는 위치에서 시작된 공간이다.

두 방향이 만들어내는 대비는 외부에서부터 공간의 성격을 결정하는 조건이 되었다.1층은 구조적으로 비워져 있다.기둥 사이로 빛이 통과하며, 들린 하부 공간은 골목과 실내 사이의 거리를 길게 만든다.입구는 이 구조 안에서 드러나고, 별도의 장식 없이 건물의 형태가 첫 인상을 형성한다.실내에서는 전면과 후면이 하나의 축으로 연결된다.작은 면적임에도 공간의 깊이가 확보되고, 외부의 장면은 내부의 배경으로 남는다.벽으로 성격을 나누기보다, 두 방향의 풍경이 동시에 유지되도록 공간을 정리했다.중앙에는 하나의 오브제를 배치해 공간의 질서를 압축했다.이 오브제는 수납과 조명, 동선의 기준이 되며, 불필요한 요소를 배제한 상태에서 공간을 구성한다.두 방향의 흐름이 끊기지 않도록, 내부는 최소한의 구조로 유지되었다.

OARS is shaped by a site where an alley at the front and a park at the rear meet simultaneously.

The contrast between these two directions defines the character of the space from the outside.
The ground floor is structurally left open.
Light passes between the columns, and the raised lower level extends the perceived distance between the alley and the interior.
The entrance emerges within this structure, and without added ornament, the building’s form itself establishes the first impression.

Inside, the front and rear are connected along a single axis.
Despite the compact footprint, a sense of depth is secured, while the exterior scenes remain as the background of the interior.
Rather than dividing the space with walls, the layout is organized so that both directions are maintained at the same time.

A single central object condenses the order of the space.
It organizes storage, lighting, and circulation within one element, allowing the interior to remain minimal and uninterrupted.
To preserve the continuity between the two directions, the space is structured with as little intervention as possible.
